Small horizontal chest

This trunk is specially designed to be installed horizontally on the right rear, passenger side, of Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit vehicles. Thanks to its height of 18 inches, it allows simplified and easy access to the door, despite the presence of the handle or the license plate. This trunk offers an appreciable loading capacity for your accessories, whether it is barbecue equipment or sporting goods.

The all-aluminum structure and TIG welding ensure superior quality. We use 0.080 inch thick aluminum, combining strength and lightness. The chest is equipped with a tilt lock with key, two latches for optimal sealing and a stainless steel piano hinge.

It is possible to add various accessories such as a wood basket on the top, a perforated door front, internal panels with multiple perforations to fix our accessories, as well as height-adjustable and removable shelves (sold separately).

Warnings:

• May cause reversing sensors to beep when reversing (varies by van)
• Do not attach additional objects such as fuel cans to the exterior of the trunk; this will void the warranty due to the increased lever arm on the door.
• Close the door carefully when the trunk is fully loaded.
• Overloading may damage doors and hinges, voiding the warranty.

Assembly :

Requires Single Tubular Bracket, Full Door Bracket, or Universal Proto Bracket and or Deluxe Model Bracket for mounting on van. Installation cost: $150 from manufacturer.
